The renowned Kruger National Park is the perfect place to experience wild Africa as it is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. This top South African safari destination is home to a variety of phenomenal animals including the Big Five, and boasts six different ecosystems. The expansive park – which covers land in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga – is larger than several countries in the world, spanning over nearly 2 million hectares! A number of rivers flow through the park, including the Sabie River and Olifants River, with the Crocodile River forming the park’s southernmost boundary. Many of the game lodges in the park also feature waterholes, offering ideal locations for animal sightings.
