If you are looking for a quiet and romantic honeymoon that gives you plenty of privacy, Manyeleti Game Reserve is the ideal choice.
At Manyeleti Game Reserve you have 23,000 hectares of space to explore. Situated right alongside the popular Sabi Sands and Timbavati Game Reserves (on the eastern side of the Kruger National Park), and with no fences between the private reserves and national park, Manyeleti boasts a great number of wild animals and the most beautiful birds. Visitors of the reserve have an excellent chance of spotting one of South Africa’s famous Big Five animals. Leopards are probably the most difficult to find, but they are quite regularly seen at Manyeleti. A pride of lions can often be spotted as well, or a sleeping lion. The beauty of this nature reserve is its peaceful atmosphere. There are only three lodges, yet over 200 kilometres of gravel roads, and you can therefore easily feel as if you have the whole reserve to yourself. The accommodation offered is attractive and comfortable, yet has a certain ‘rugged’ feel that is rather adventurous. Wildlife enthusiasts, photographers and bird watchers will discover Manyeleti to be an exciting destination.
